Summary

Introduced with the Australian Workplace Safety Standards Bill 2005, the bill: repeals the

National Occupational Health and Safety Commission Act 1985
, thus abolishing the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission (which will be replaced by the Australian Safety and Compensation Council); and makes consequential and transitional changes to 4 other Acts.
